SiliB Technology

100% Silicon anodes for Li-ion batteries
battery.png

why silicon?

Higher capacity for demanding applications

Most commercially available lithium-ion batteries use graphite as an anode, with theoretical capacity of 370 mAh/g.

Silicon's theoretical capacity is 4200 mAh/g,
an order of magnitude greater than that of graphite.

The use of silicon in Li-ion can increase the battery capacity within the same cell form factor.

Why Silicon

oUR SOLUTION

Pure Silicon Anodes for Li-ion batteries

We have demonstrated a new way to approach and overcome the Silicon anodes challenge in a simple and scalable process, while maintaining the Silicon advantage.

  • 100% silicon &
    double sided

  • Low cost manufacturing process

  • No catalysts are used

  • No  Silicon alloys

  • Binder free anodes
    -no PVDF, no PTFE

  • No graphite
